Having a wide variety of industry experience, James has spent his career developing and implementing legislative strategies for clients ranging from Fortune 500 manufacturing and consumer product companies, to satellite communications providers, professional sports entities, local governments, and trade associations. He has also worked in the areas of state and local taxation, media and public relations, and has successfully delivered client results in the areas of grassroots advocacy and strategic planning. Most recently James served as an independent contractor with a large statewide construction association, and as the government affairs manager for a long-standing government relations firm in Richmond. In addition to representing clients before the General Assembly, James manages the firm’s ethics and disclosure compliance with the Virginia Conflict of Interest and Ethics Advisory Council and organizes all events hosted by KVCF Solutions.
A Richmond native, James is involved in several community organizations. Chief among them are St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and St. Christopher’s School.
