Although the state has promised appropriate accommodations for those who rely on the Americans with Disabilities Act, people are finding their requests being personally denied by Commissioner Colin Greene. He is now stating that he needs medical records in order to approve requests. This, however, seems to contradict emails from the VDH Office of Human Resources, saying that employees should not include personal health information in their telework forms. Bishop also seemed wary of the situation, saying “That concern’s only continued to grow.”
