(Richmond, VA) – Yesterday the Virginia General Assembly convened its 2018 Session in noteworthy fashion. A nearly equally divided House of Delegates unanimously elected Del. Kirk Cox (R-Colonial Heights) as its new Speaker, indicating a willingness to work across party lines during the long 60-day session.
