KVCF Solutions Establishes CannabisVA – Kickoff Event October 22

(Richmond, VA) – KVCF Solutions is excited to announce the formation of CannabisVA, and invite you to a kickoff event on October 22, 2018 at Downtown Richmond’s Suntrust Center. CannabisVA is a newly formed Virginia trade association. Its mission is to promote and advance the economic development of medical cannabis and cannabidiol (“CBD”) for medicinal and pharmaceutical uses, and to encourage a favorable and responsible business environment for pharma-related cannabis activities in Virginia among the legislative and regulatory bodies, industry participants and the interested public.

Join us on October 22 for an informative panel discussion with key policymakers about the newly-enacted legislation and regulatory process related to the use of cannabidiol (“CBD”) oils for medical and pharmaceutical purposes. Learn about the science and reasoning behind the law as well as the potential growth of this new industry and benefits to ailing citizens and Virginia’s economy.

This CannabisVA kickoff event features a panel of local thought leaders in the world of medical cannabis, including State Senator Siobhan Dunnavant, M.D. (District 12), Dr. David Brown, Director, Virginia Department of Health Professions, Cal Whitehead of Commonwealth Strategy Group, Dr. Travis Shaw of Travis Shaw, M.D., with Steve Baril of KVCF Solutions as moderator.
