As it nears the time of Governor Glenn Youngkin’s new policy coming into effect, handfuls of teleworking applications are being reviewed by the administration. Although they are working to answer all of the telework requests in a timely manner, the administration is still behind their deadline. The Virginia Governmental Employees Association is concerned that this policy will negatively affect people all over the state, but Youngkin doesn’t seem to be backing off his plan. Bishop says they are, “in the process of compiling and sorting it out right now,” and will meet with the Secretary of Administration, Lyn McDermid.
