New Virginia state laws are taking a hard stand against the sale of certain hemp products that contain “chemically synthesized” elements. Although they are cracking down on these products, the government is not attempting to regulate any smokeable products. May people are pushing back, saying the law holds no ground and is unclear as to what cannabis products actually fall under this category. Dylan Bishop was one of may speakers against the regulation, saying that the new rules “weren’t grounded in state law and claimed the shift amounted to an overnight policy change.”
